If India is dubbing Japanese cartoons in Hindi to promote Hindi in upbringing of their children then why can't Pakistan dub the same cartoons in Urdu to preserve our national language in our younger generations. It is quite an alarming situation in a soceity where parents feel pride in making their children forget their first language, instead try to focus on other languages. The greedy nature of Nobita always turns everything wrong.

The story of this cartoon series is about a Doraemon, a robotic cat that helps Nobita in his everyday life and tries to fulfill his wishes through the gadgets. According to a report as many as half of the world's 7,000 languages are expected to be extinct by the end of this century and it is estimated that one language dies out every 14 days. Doraemon is a Japanese cartoon but is very famous in china. World is turning into a global village (with the use of advanced technologies) and regional languages are becoming obsolete day by day.
It is not that I am anti-Indian or anti-Hindi, it is because one should preserve their respective culture and languages which is considered part of someone's identity. But I think Hindi-dubbed cartoons should be banned. Doraemon is a cute and fun manga and animated series that many people love. Explicitly mentioning Doraemon for banning is a childish move by PTI.
